WE LOVE HELPING YOU GROW!

We love what we do and the difference our produce makes to the health, growth and sustainability of your garden. “Our family has been transforming our client’s soils along Sydney’s exclusive harbour foreshore and greenbelt, since 1991.” Soil is life and ‘growing’ for us, isn’t just about our love of the restorative power of plants and gardens... and worms and soil... and all things scrumptiously natural! It’s also about sharing a ‘growing’ connection with all the families we meet on our seasonal visits farm to farm to spread the ‘Love’ in their ‘green’ retreats. Bringing this ‘life and joy’ into your realm is not something we do alone.

In collaboration with the natural cycles of nature, we ensure our much loved 'worm buddies’ dine on the most nutritionally perfect, 100% natural, bio-activated diet to produce the garden ’superfood’ your plants need to thrive. Our philosophy for ‘growing’ is very much about growing the capacity we all have to ‘make a difference’ in the world. The support we have had from our wonderful clients purchasing our gourmet garden food, season the season, has helped us to produce films and projects that message and promote the future for peace and sustainability in the big Earth Garden we all call home!

WHERE IT ALL BEGAN

We owe it all to the 'King'! The King of Poo!

The moment that 'catalysed the movement’ in Australia and around the world for 'composting with worms' was the larger than life performances of Richard ‘Ric' Friar. He made the use of worms and composting famous in Australia and around the world.

Throughout the 1990’s, during 40hours of prime time television interviews and thousands of print and radio appearances, he single handedly enlightened audiences about the true value of recycling organic matter using worms to harvest their miraculous ‘manure’ for the cultivation of high performance soils that turbocharge plant growth and health.

These were early days of experimentation and ‘King Poo’ was leading this revolution of understanding with his son, Neuman, at his side meeting the demands of garden lovers all over Sydney for the ‘good stuff’ that they delivered to their gardens.

In the decades that followed, King Poo used his media fame to raise awareness about sustainability through his 'Good Planets are Hard to Find Eco-Roadshow’. It was during this time, that he met ‘The Queen’.

With other family members taking up their reign of the King Poo Kingdom alongside the loyal purchasing support of their clients, Ric and Wendy joined forces to take the Eco-Roadshow on it’s final tour before embarking on the journey to make their feature documentary film, ‘Think About It!’.

Dedicated to bringing a single global movement together for a peaceful, sustainable future for Earth - and starring a roll call of political, social and celebrity thought leaders from around the world - ‘Think About It!’ is set around the events of the 2003 invasion of Iraq.

Their latest international award winning production ‘Phenomenality’ is part of the continuing legacy of their partnership to champion “the difference that makes a difference” to developing a new level of collaborative, co-operative, sustainable engagement for the future of the planetary garden we all call ‘home’

They also developed cultural sustainability project models in Vanuatu as well as make history - and headlines - in Australia by successfully applying for the first license to grow industrial hemp in an urban area!

The ‘King’ has retired now from his amazing life and as part of their plan, Wendy is ensuring that his legacy and the creative work they developed together will continue to serve and support global peace and sustainability messaging.

Wendy is also a living advertisement for the promoting the role of women in leadership and advocacy for 'making a difference' in the world. She is launching a campaign to create a peak body organisation representing a single global movement of women through her start up ‘The Agency of Women’. Wendy delivers public talks and presentations to divers audiences.

The rest … and the best…. is yet to come.
